My 1st formal tiered cake.  It was for a birthday party for a friend's mother.  The bottom layer was chocolate with caramel, nugent, and hot fudge filling.  The middle layer was strawberry with strawberry and cream cheese filling.  The top layer was lemon with buttercream filling.

The theme of the party was ruby, diamonds, and pearls.

The birthday boy wanted a cake with a boy walking a white dog with a red leash. 

He also wanted a white picket fense, blue sky, and clouds.

Thomas and Friends

Okay, I admit that I greatly dislike Thomas the Tank Engine, so I inwardly moan whenever someone wants one. The newer movies are okay but the show on Saturday mornings is awful! I think that some time needs to be spent to make it more modern and colorful, but the kiddos seem to love it. This cake was for a friend's son who is turning 2 this weekend. I think it turned out cute - even if it is Thomas and Friends ;)
